The design of Hecang Training School draws inspiration from the granary, symbolizing the harvest of knowledge and the high expectations the school has for its students. The space features a harmonious blend of gray and log tones, reminiscent of the colors of grain harvest, creating a warm and magnificent ambiance that embodies the idea of a bumper crop.

Spanning a building area of 670 square meters, Hecang Training School stands out with its unique features and strengths. The spatial structure incorporates staggered floors, strategically placing the gym room, photographic room, and studio on the higher levels, while the classrooms are situated on the lower floor, optimizing the functional areas and enhancing the overall flow of the space.

The interior courtyard of Hecang Training School is adorned with wooden grain floor tiles that extend from the ground to the ceiling, seamlessly connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. The design also incorporates a tilted glass ceiling, allowing natural rainwater to flow down the glass, creating a captivating water curtain effect in the lotus pond and adding a touch of whimsy to the environment.

The lobby of Hecang Training School features an arc-shaped C design that echoes the concept of a granary, while the treasure bowl decoration serves a dual purpose, both as a decorative element and a functional reference to the granary. The reception area is cleverly separated from the passage by a sculpture and screen, ensuring privacy while providing a glimpse of the gym room located above.

Overcoming various challenges, the design of Hecang Training School successfully addresses lighting concerns by combining walls and glass to maximize natural light. The inclined structure of the walls adds a sense of hierarchy to the space, while inductive linear lighting in the multimedia classrooms infuses a futuristic touch, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal.

Completed in 2019, Hecang Training School has garnered recognition for its exceptional design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Interior Space, Retail, and Exhibition Design category in 2021. This prestigious accolade celebrates designs that demonstrate creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to improving quality of life through the integration of art, science, design, and technology.
